  10. Select the small, blue Add button on the right-side of the page.

  11. Choose either a new question, from question bank, or a random question.

Adding a new question

This option is for when you want to create your own question—not use a question from our bank.

Note: Some question types, such as essay questions, must be manually-graded.

  1. Select a new question.

  2. Select the question type you would like to use.

  3. Select Add.

  4. Create your question and select Save Changes when finished.

Adding from question bank

This is for when you are looking to assign the same question from the textbook, or a Test Bank question.

Test Bank questions are located towards the bottom of the list of questions.

  1. Select from question bank.

  2. In the new window that opens, select the drop-down menu to the right of Select a category.

  3. Navigate to the question you would like to assign.

  4. Select Static (#) beneath the question you would like use, unless you are adding a Test Bank Question.

  5. Check the box to the left of the question.

  6. Select Add selected questions to the assignment.

Adding a random question or algorithmic

If you would like your students to each receive a different variation of a specific textbook question, this is your option.

  1. Select a random question.

  2. In the new window that opens, select the drop-down menu to the right of Category.

  3. Navigate to the question you would like to assign.

  4. Select Randoms (#) beneath the question you would like use.

  5. Select Add random question.
